Logic vs pro tools12/8/2022 I am going to refer to it as "Those Flex thingies. For details about working with transient markers, see “Editing Audio in the Sample Editor.” Logic only works on a Mac, which might be a limitation for some people. The automatically placed transient markers can be edited in the Sample Editor. In terms of cross-platform compatibility, Pro Tools works on a Mac, Apple, PC, it doesn’t matter. The audio on a track is analyzed for transients the first time you enable that track for flex time editing. Flex time editing is largely dependent on a set of markers called transient markers-or transients-which denote significant points in an audio file. I still wish something would have happened that normal folders can be edited and moved like in cubase or in the take folders without having to switch "arrange area" How do you think here is the timestretch algorithm quality compared to pro tools? Hmm, i thought and still think transients are transients and transient markers are markers detecting the transients that get created during auto detection, i think the manual also speaks of transient markers on which flex relies on or so curious if thats the same when trying to create an aplle loop cause i didnt like the handling there and preferred recycle nice to hear that editing is possible in sample editor. Thx, this is a good thread, this is going into detail.
